Another  edifice will soon be added to the seemingly never-ending  construction at Central Philippine University. This time it will benefit the high school students, faculty and staff.  

The construction of  the new High School building  started right  after the Ground Breaking Ceremony held on October 6, 1999. Costing  P15M, the five storey building  will become the new home of the CPU Development  High School in SY 2000-2001.  

As part of the plan,  the  old High School building  will be renovated for the  use  of collegiate units  to help solve the problem of lack of  classrooms and overcrowded offices.

All officers and members of the CPU Corporation, Trustees, administrators, faculty and staff, and alumni who are interested to attend the CPUAAI 2000 Grand Reunion in Houston, Texas on June 15-18, 2000 are requested to submit their names to the Office of Planning and Development.  

The Grand Reunion Secretariat will send invitations to those who have signed in to facilitate securing of the U.S. Visa.

Fifty seven faculty and staff qualified to receive cash awards for long service  this year.
