  Dear Brethren,

Mainit nga panamyaw gikan sa Iloilo!

We, the Bahandi Singers, hope you had a Christ-filled Christmas and a Blessed New Year brimming with hope.

The year 1998 was a milestone for us. After 20 years of ministry, we were blessed with the privilege to go on our first ever US Concert Tour. It was a highlight in most of our young lives and we are grateful for all our cherished memories which were made possible with your prayerful support and generosity.

Upon our arrival, we have recommitted ourselves to keep on using the gift of music to strengthen the church and to reach the unchurched with the timeless message of the gospel through our music. We have also applied and passed the requirements for incorporation of the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Hence, we are now known as “The Bahandi Singers, Inc.”

As we review our vision and continue our mission in preparation for the next millenium, we continue to seek avenues by which we can reach and inspire others with our music. Among our commitments for the first quarter of 1999 are: the concert for Sister City Association of Stockton (CA) and Iloilo on January 22nd, a major concert sometime in March, and a fund raiser for the University Church’s “Ministry on Wheels.”

Having been touched with your encouragement and inspired by your hospitality, we just wanted to keep in touch and let you know about our plans at present and in the near future. Once again, “Salamat Gid” for all the help you have extended to us.

May you continue to experience God’s blessing and guidance as you face the vicissitudes of the days and years ahead.

     Forever Grateful,
     The Bahandi Singers, Inc.
