I feel that any thing done— be it big or small — to show concern and care, deserves to be commended, more so in this day and age when everything goes, leaving no room or place for the old, homespun virtues. But every now and then, we are blessed to come across such matters, and we are refreshed enough to wish there was more of it. So, let me tell you about MARY PINKY C. MOISES, one of our students in the Graduate School. Soon after she paid her tuition, Mary Pinky came back to let me know that I had mistakenly issued her a receipt for P2,000.00 when she had paid only P1,000.00. She cared enough to take the trouble to come back and save me from financial setback of a thousand- peso deficit in the day’s cash receipts. She cared enough to keep me from the heartache of putting back a thousand pesos. Honesty is one old fashioned virtue which has sadly vanished in our times. I consider Ms. Mary Pinky C. Moises truly exceptional for possessing it. MS. CECILIA M.
